Jessica Simpson Wanted To Die After Divorce

The reason I’m writing a bit about Jessica Simpson’s high-profile divorce from 98 degrees singer Nick Lachey is to highlight what some of you already know…just how painful divorce is…

Recently, Jessica’s been saying that after her divorce she wanted to die. And, I’ve also seen her quoted saying that her divorce was “like death.” It’s not unusual for divorcing people to have an experience similar to the death of a loved one according to many psychologists. After all, a significant member of your life will no longer be in your life.

It would see, though, that with Jessica’s acquisition of the hunky, football hero Tony Roma; she’s pretty well managed to move on with her life. And, she even wrote a song about him called You’re My Sunday.
