Study Finds Sex As Biggest Reason For Divorce
Well, whether we openly acknowledge it or not, sex is a significant part of our lives. It’s sort of funny that I just read this divorce vis a vis sex story today, because, much to my surprise; when I was talking with my friend’s girlfriend tonight (on the cell phone), she told me that she wasn’t happy with my friend’s sexual performance. And, I’ve never met this girl either.
Now, I’m not knocking her. I sort of enjoyed hearing her thoughts about sex…and, she also spoke of all the kinky things she was into. The thought crossed my mind that maybe it was inappropriate to talk to my friend’s girl in this way. I mean…the whole loyalty thing and everything. But, she did initiate the conversation…I could tell she was trying pretty hard to steer the talk to sexual matters. She went on to explain that she was into kinky things.
“Like what?” I asked her.
“Just about anything,” she said.
“Let’s hear an example,” I said.
“I don’t know…things like role playing, golden showers, you know.”
I told her that I wasn’t inhibited; but, that I’d probably been too shy to actually tell my previous girlfriends and ex-wife about what I was into. I mean…my wife…I was worried that if I asked her to put on heels and a nurse’s uniform…well, she might think I was some sort of weird freak. Actually, I’m pretty sure she would have.
But, my friend’s girlfriend went on to tell me about her past orgies…like, how she was once with seven guys at the same time! And, bear in mind…this woman is actually a teacher. Holy shit! And, you know, she was telling me that my friend was perfect in so many ways…but, she was complaining her because he wasn’t completely pleasing her panty region.
Oh, this is a crazy world! But, the reason that I’m sort of digressing is because of this story about how sex is the biggest cause of divorce. This includes complaints about infidelity, cross-dressing, online pornography, sex forums, etc.
Top six reasons for divorce:
- Sex – 43 per cent of cases
- Lifestyle – 37 per cent
- Personality – 24 per cent
- Power – 21 per cent
- Money – 11 per cent
- Technology – 11 per cent
